Keeping a pet

We recognise what a pet is worth to someone living on their own. Permission is usually given where the flat suits it and the animal will be properly looked after.

• You need our permission in writing before an animal comes to live with you.
• If your home has its own front door, we will normally allow one domestic pet.
• If your entrance or stairway is shared, pets are not permitted unless a director agrees to it.
• Every request is looked at on its own, not against a checklist.
• Your tenancy agreement still applies, including the parts about noise and nuisance.
